When a job search stalls, it is rarely because there is “no work”. It is often because you keep looking in the same place — the job you have always done, in the sector you know.

This article is a map. It splits the 66 jobs Flemmy tracks into 24 families, and shows for each how many jobs lack candidates — 42 in total. Worth a look even (especially) if you think you already know where you are going.

How to use this map

1. Find your current family, then look at the ones just above it in the ranking. The easiest bridges are often between neighbouring families: admin → HR, retail → sales, logistics → industry.
2. Open two profiles of shortage occupations you had never considered. Read the expected skills. The goal is not to convince you — it is to check whether you already have them.
3. Compare the ranges. At the same level of education, the gap between two families can exceed €15k a year. Not reason enough to change track, but information you regret not having had.
