The score compares your CV with a specific posting — not in the abstract. The same CV can score 82 on one advert and 54 on another, and that is normal: the two roles do not ask for the same thing.

• ATS readability — out of 20 points
  Can the text be extracted cleanly? Columns, tables and image-only PDFs are penalised here.
• Match with the posting — out of 30 points
  The overlap between what the advert asks for and what your CV says, job title included.
• Keywords — out of 20 points
  Coverage of the important terms in the posting, weighted by how much they matter in it.
• Experience and relevance — out of 15 points
  How well your background fits the expected level and field.
• Content quality — out of 15 points
  Concrete results, action verbs, and the absence of empty phrasing.

The score is not a judgement of worth. It estimates the overlap between your CV and an advert, roughly as recruitment software would compute it. A low score on a posting far from your profile is useful information: it saves you an application that would lead nowhere.

The breakdown matters more. A gap on "ATS readability" is fixed by changing the layout, without touching the substance. A gap on "Keywords" is fixed by rephrasing what you already know how to do. A gap on "Experience and relevance" cannot be fixed by writing: the role may simply not be for you.

Fix what belongs to form first, because that is where sound applications are lost: a single column, a PDF containing text, conventional section headings.
